TEHRAN (Lord Media): Under-construction Iranian nuclear facilities beneath Mount Kolang in southern Iran have become a significant challenge for the United States. According to U.S. intelligence agencies, advanced centrifuge machines are installed there, and it is allegedly capable of storing 60 percent enriched uranium.
These facilities are likened to a fortress, and through them, Iran could potentially enrich uranium up to 90 percent, enabling the creation of an atomic bomb. Mount Kolang, standing at 5,275 feet, is part of the Zagros mountain range, with the facilities located 328 feet deep within the mountain.
U.S. bunker-buster bombs can penetrate up to 200 feet, making it a major challenge for the U.S. to target these facilities. It is also believed that Iran has fortified its nuclear installations to minimize damage from U.S. or Israeli bombs.
The facilities consist of vast halls accessed through four tunnels. If enriched uranium is stored there, its protection will be a matter of life and death for Iran.
