TEHRAN (Lord Media): Iran has claimed responsibility for attacks on US military bases in Kuwait and Jordan, while also announcing the downing of a US drone by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. According to Iranian sources, Ali Al-Salem Air Base in Kuwait and the Azraq military base in Jordan were targeted.
The US Central Command stated that strikes were conducted on Iranian military assets to ensure the safety of commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. During this operation, US forces targeted Iranian coastal defense systems, missile, and drone installations.
Iranian media reported that US missiles targeted Chabahar, Ahvaz, and Bandar Abbas, with one missile landing near a hospital, though no casualties were reported. Jordan also confirmed intercepting Iranian missiles in mid-air.
Iran has threatened to close all trade routes, while Iranian Parliament Speaker Baqer Qalibaf called for unity to protect national security.
Iranian spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani stated that over 30 civilians, including two women and children, were killed and more than 260 injured in US attacks. Iran has launched the seventh wave of its retaliatory strikes.
