ISLAMABAD (Lord Media): A light-duty foreman, Sabir Hussain, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in the Tarbela Dam’s fifth extension project (T5). According to police, the incident occurred in the Galla Mor area where armed individuals opened fire on Sabir Hussain and fled the scene. The deceased hailed from Rahim Yar Khan district.
Sources indicate that Sabir Hussain was serving as a light-duty foreman in the Tarbela T5 project and also worked as a driver for the Chinese project manager. The incident spread fear in the area, and upon receiving the information, police arrived at the scene, collected evidence, and transferred the body to the hospital for necessary procedures.
Police have launched a search for the attackers and are investigating the incident from various angles, including the motives behind the attack.
