Airlines warned of Gulf airspace risks

MIDDLE EAST (Lord Media): The Aviation Safety Agency has issued a warning to airlines about significant risks in the airspace of Gulf countries. The agency’s advisory recommends avoiding the airspace of Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates until July 29.

The Aviation Safety Agency stated that due to the current security situation, civil aviation in the Gulf region faces heightened threats. Unexpected military developments, missile attacks, drones, and the potential use of fighter jets could compromise passenger safety.

All airlines have been advised to monitor the situation and consider alternative air routes to ensure passenger safety.

In the past, tensions between Iran and the United States also affected Middle Eastern flights, leading to losses for Gulf airlines and increased fares.
