Trump scraps 20% Hormuz fee for Gulf states

WASHINGTON (Lord Media): U.S. President Donald Trump has announced the removal of the 20% fee for Gulf countries on the Strait of Hormuz, demanding significant investment in the U.S. in return.

In a statement on social media, President Trump credited the smooth flow of oil shipments to the efforts of the U.S. military, praising Pete Hegseth, General Dan Kane, and Admiral Brad Cooper for their services. He stated that the Strait of Hormuz is open to all vessels except Iran’s, whose leadership he accused of driving the country towards ruin.

Trump further stated that Gulf countries would invest in the U.S. instead of paying the 20% fee, which he claimed would be beneficial for them. He noted that the U.S. has already seen the largest investment in its history, and new investments would further increase this volume.

President Trump added that factories, industrial plants, and modern equipment would come to the U.S., creating millions of new jobs and making America more successful than ever. He asserted that Iran would never acquire nuclear weapons.
