BISHKEK (Lord Media): The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) foreign ministers’ meeting will be held next week in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Foreign ministers from member countries including Pakistan, China, Russia, and Iran will attend.
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will lead the Pakistani delegation and depart for Kyrgyzstan next week. The meeting is scheduled for July 24, with Indian Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar also expected to attend.
The meeting will finalize the agenda and key issues for the upcoming SCO summit. The summit will take place at the end of next month in Bishkek, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif representing Pakistan.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping are expected to participate in the summit. A joint declaration will be issued on September 1.
