Iran warns Hormuz Strait won’t open under threat

TEHRAN (Lord Media): Iranian military official Brigadier General Mohammad Akram has stated that the Strait of Hormuz will not be opened through threats or war. He urged the United States to respect international laws and the sovereignty of nations.

The Iranian military’s statement emphasized that Iran will not accept any external interference or violation of agreements in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the statement, Iran had temporarily allowed toll-free passage for 60 days under an agreement, but accused the U.S. of attempting to create an illegal route through deception, which is unacceptable.

Brigadier General Mohammad Akram further asserted that the only way to open the Strait of Hormuz is for the U.S. to respect Iran’s rights. The Iranian armed forces will take all necessary measures to defend their national rights.
