KARACHI (Lord Media): Rangers have arrested Qari Bashir, the mastermind behind the attack on the Rangers camp in Gulistan-e-Jauhar. The network of facilitators involved in the attack has been exposed.
Sindh Interior Minister Zia-ul-Hasan Lanjhar, accompanied by IG Sindh Javed Alam and other officials, revealed at a press conference that on June 27, four terrorists attacked the Sindh Rangers’ Karachi Transport Company, with three attackers hailing from Afghanistan and one from Bajaur.
The Interior Minister stated that the terrorists were receiving instructions from Afghanistan, aiming to take hostages and cause casualties. In an operation by Sindh Rangers, three terrorists were killed, and one was captured in an injured state.
SSP CTD Irfan Bahadur disclosed that the planning of the attack was carried out in Afghanistan, and after entering Pakistan, facilitators provided them with weapons.
Irfan Bahadur further mentioned that several individuals were involved in the planning, including Noor Wali, Sher Ali, and Saeed Shah. Qari Bashir was summoned from Pakistan to execute this task.
Arrested terrorist Qari Bashir confessed that the weapons for the attack were sent by Saeed Shah and distributed in Karachi.
