TEHRAN (Lord Media): Iranian parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee spokesperson, Ebrahim Rezai, issued a scathing response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent remarks. Rezai stated that Iran does not require external assistance to safeguard the Strait of Hormuz.
In a social media post, Ebrahim Rezai mocked Trump’s desire to become the guardian of the Strait of Hormuz, asserting that Iran needs no outside help. He sarcastically suggested that if Trump is so eager to guard, he should become the custodian of Lindsey Graham’s grave.
This statement comes amid escalating verbal exchanges between the U.S. and Iran concerning the security of the Strait of Hormuz and regional tensions.
President Donald Trump, in an interview with Fox News, mentioned that the U.S. would charge for protecting the Strait of Hormuz and issued a stern warning to Iran, claiming that U.S. actions have damaged Iranian military equipment.
The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world’s most crucial maritime passages, with significant oil transfers, making its tensions a focal point of global attention.
