U.S. Embassy cancels UAE appointments

ABU DHABI (Lord Media): The U.S. Embassy in the United Arab Emirates has announced the cancellation of consular appointments due to security concerns. According to officials, appointments in Abu Dhabi from July 13 to 15 have been canceled, and consular services in Dubai will also be affected.

The embassy stated that non-emergency U.S. government personnel have been relocated outside the UAE, and all routine U.S. visa services will remain suspended until further notice. Passport and other emergency consular services will be provided via email.

U.S. authorities have advised individuals with scheduled appointments on the specified dates not to visit the embassy and assured that applicants will be contacted regarding new appointments. The embassy is currently offering limited consular services.
