TEHRAN (Lord Media): Iran has claimed responsibility for an attack on a U.S. naval fleet and airbase in Bahrain. According to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, missiles and drones targeted the U.S. fleet in Bahrain, igniting fuel reserves at the American base. The attack reportedly damaged the Patriot air defense system, radar systems, and a drone center.
The Revolutionary Guard’s statement mentioned that the Juffair airbase’s weapon depots, satellite communication center, and residential buildings for U.S. forces were targeted.
A spokesperson for the Revolutionary Guard further stated that two supertankers in the Strait of Hormuz were also disabled after ignoring Iranian warnings.
Meanwhile, Jordan has claimed to have intercepted four missiles coming from Iran. According to a Jordanian military spokesperson, the missiles were successfully intercepted upon entering the country’s airspace.
