BERLIN (Lord Media): European countries have accused Russia of conducting cyber campaigns against them. Germany has summoned the Russian ambassador over this issue. The German Foreign Ministry stated that cyber attacks are unacceptable and promised a strong response against Russia, which could include further sanctions.
The European Union and the United Kingdom have imposed new sanctions on Russia over these cyber attack allegations. The EU has sanctioned 9 Russian individuals and 4 entities, while the UK has blacklisted 24 additional individuals and organizations.
