CHAKWAL (Lord Media): Hundreds of dead fish were found floating on the surface of Dhok Tahliyan Dam in Chakwal, causing a foul smell to spread. Tourists visiting the site were affected and returned home.
The administration of Dhok Tahliyan Dam stated that the fish died due to extreme heat. They have begun efforts to save the remaining fish by adding medicine to the water and removing the dead fish.
The Deputy Commissioner of Chakwal has taken notice of the incident and ordered fisheries department officials to investigate the underlying causes.
