LAHORE (Lord Media): Significant progress has been made in the harassment and death threat case involving actress Momina Iqbal at the Lahore Sessions Court. The court has extended the interim bail of PML-N MPA Saqib Chadhar and his wife, Samira, until July 28.
The hearing was conducted by Additional Sessions Judge Nusrat Ali Siddiqui, with Saqib Chadhar and his wife present in court. However, Momina Iqbal’s lawyer, Adnan Ehsan, was unable to attend.
The investigating officer informed the court that the accused, Samira, has joined the investigation, and her mobile phone has been confiscated, although the phone with the SIM card is still required. It was further stated that more time is needed to complete the investigation.
It is noteworthy that the NCCIA has registered the case on the complaint of actress Momina Iqbal.
