ISLAMABAD (Lord Media): Interviews for candidates vying for high court judge positions commenced today. Initially, interviews for Islamabad High Court candidates are being conducted, while Lahore High Court interviews are scheduled for July 16 and 17, and Sindh High Court interviews will take place on July 14 and 15.
These interviews are being held in the committee room of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan’s Supreme Court. The interview committee is chaired by Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi.
Chief Justice of Lahore High Court, Justice Alia Neelum, being the senior chief justice, is a member of all interview committees. Justice Aamir Farooq will chair the committee for Sindh and Balochistan High Court candidates.
Attorney General of Pakistan Mansoor Usman Awan is also a member of the interview committees, along with Senator Farooq Hameed Naek, Senator Syed Ali Zafar, and Muhammad Ahsan Bhoon.
