DIAMER (Lord Media): Torrential rains in Gilgit-Baltistan’s Diamer district have triggered devastating floods, causing widespread destruction to properties and infrastructure.

In Thor, floodwaters trapped residents, leading to debris entering homes and agricultural lands being swept away.
The main road in Thor has been closed due to flooding, disrupting traffic and cutting off electricity supply.
A flash flood in Darel’s Khanbari Shing Shar Nala damaged two houses, livestock, and heavy machinery belonging to the Hasnat Company.
In Boner Das, the Karakoram Highway was blocked by floods, stranding vehicles of travelers and tourists.
In Niat, severe flooding damaged the connecting road, causing difficulties for citizens. Locals have appealed to the government for immediate assistance.
