WASHINGTON (Lord Media): The ongoing conflict between the United States and Iran has intensified as U.S. forces launched extensive attacks against Iran, executing over 310 strikes in the past three days. The U.S. Central Command confirmed that these attacks commenced at 5 p.m. U.S. time on the orders of President Donald Trump.
According to the U.S. military, the objective of these strikes is to weaken Iran’s naval power and secure the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz. Fighter jets, naval ships, and suicide drones have been deployed to target Iranian military radars and missile systems.
Iranian media reported that loud explosions were heard in Bandar Abbas, Qeshm, Sirik, and Jask as a result of the U.S. attacks. In retaliation, Iran has launched missile and drone strikes on U.S. bases in Jordan and Bahrain.
Iran’s Deputy Governor stated that U.S. bombings hit eight locations in Khuzestan, resulting in one death and four injuries. Iran has declared it will continue retaliatory actions in self-defense.
U.S. officials have stated they will take all necessary measures to keep maritime routes open. This intense bombardment has brought the region to the brink of a dangerous conflict.
