3,790 Afghans return home through Torkham border

PESHAWAR (Lord Media): The repatriation of Afghan citizens through the Pak-Afghan Torkham border is ongoing. According to sources, 3,790 Afghan nationals returned to their homeland yesterday. The highest number, 1,834, departed from Hamza Baba Holding Centre, Landi Kotal.

From Jumma Khan Camp, 838 Afghans completed their return, while 448 left from Azakhel Camp. Additionally, 329 returned from Kohat Camp and 171 from Nowshera Camp.

Sources further revealed that 135 Afghans departed from Naguman Camp and 18 from Haripur Camp. Moreover, 8 individuals returned from Swabi and 9 from Jamrud in Khyber District.
