ISLAMABAD (Lord Media): The National Highway Authority (NHA) has increased toll taxes on highways and motorways across the country. The new rates have come into effect today, raising toll fees for various types of vehicles.
According to the NHA, the toll tax on highways is set at 100 rupees for cars, 200 rupees for wagons, and 300 rupees for buses.
On the M-3 Motorway (Lahore to Abdul Hakeem), the toll tax is 1000 rupees for cars, 1500 rupees for wagons, 2200 rupees for minibuses, and 3150 rupees for buses.
For the M-4 Motorway (Pindi Bhattian to Multan), the toll tax is 1350 rupees for cars, 1950 rupees for wagons, 2900 rupees for minibuses, and 4050 rupees for buses.
On the M-5 Motorway (Multan to Sukkur), the toll tax is 1500 rupees for cars, 2200 rupees for wagons, 3250 rupees for minibuses, and 4600 rupees for buses.
The NHA has announced that the new rates are now being implemented at all toll plazas.
