KARACHI (Lord Media): Pakistani actress Mishi Khan has expressed concern over the increasing trend of bold scenes in television dramas. She stated that the style of dramas, aired under the guise of family entertainment, is rapidly changing and needs serious consideration.
In an Instagram video, Mishi Khan shared her reservations about the changing content of Pakistani dramas. She remarked that there is a continuous rise in inappropriate content through films, dramas, stage shows, and social media. According to her, while Indian films and songs have also seen an increase in such trends, Pakistani dramas are now following suit, which is worrying.
Mishi Khan pointed out that scenes like couples hugging are becoming commonplace in Pakistani dramas. She expressed concern that if this trend continues, bedroom scenes or kissing scenes might become part of dramas in the future.
She emphasized that Pakistani dramas are usually watched by entire families, including children, so their content should differ from other media. According to her, scenes that were not common in the past are now being included in dramas, and this change needs attention.
Following her video, various opinions emerged on social media. Many users agreed with Mishi Khan, stating that caution should be exercised in selecting content for family dramas, while some presented different viewpoints.
