RAWALPINDI (Lord Media): Police have solved a blind murder case in Rawalpindi, identifying the victim Zahra Khatoon’s granddaughter Bisma and her husband Babar as the culprits. The couple allegedly strangled Zahra Khatoon for a small sum of money and sold her gold jewelry.
According to police, the arrested couple, Babar and Bisma, attempted to portray the murder of the elderly Zahra Khatoon as a natural death a few days ago. Signs of violence on Zahra Khatoon’s body led to a post-mortem and subsequent legal proceedings.
After registering the case, the victim’s granddaughter and her husband were interrogated. Police stated that the arrested couple confessed to the murder during the investigation.
