KARACHI (Lord Media): Indus Motor Company has announced a significant increase in the prices of Toyota Corolla Cross hybrid vehicles. According to the company, this change will take effect from July 1, 2026. The price hike applies only to hybrid electric vehicle variants, with no changes made to petrol variants.
The price of the Corolla Cross HEV X has been increased from 8.935 million rupees to 10.299 million rupees, marking an increase of 1.364 million rupees. Similarly, the price of the Corolla Cross HEV has been raised from 8.535 million rupees to 9.849 million rupees, reflecting a rise of 1.314 million rupees.
The company explained that the primary reason for the price increase is the removal of general sales tax concessions on hybrid vehicles under the federal budget 2026-27. As a result, locally manufactured hybrid vehicles now fall under a higher sales tax bracket.
The company also clarified that the new prices will apply to all new orders booked from July 1, 2026, with vehicle availability subject to the company’s policy.
