ECB enforces new alcohol rules for players

LONDON (Lord Media): The England Cricket Board (ECB) has introduced new alcohol-related protocols for its players. The ECB’s Managing Director signed these protocols, which clarify rules following the Ben Stokes incident.

According to the protocols, players are prohibited from consuming alcohol the day after a match, and a midnight curfew will remain in effect. Players must inform management or security if they stay out of the hotel past 10 PM.

Players are banned from appearing intoxicated in public and from posting any alcohol-related activities or items on social media. Additionally, alcohol consumption is not allowed in public areas of the team hotel.

Recently, there was significant criticism over an incident involving Ben Stokes and Gus Atkinson in a bar, and in November, Harry Brook was found involved in a drunken altercation.
