KARACHI (Lord Media): An anti-terrorism court received a seven-page interim charge sheet from the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) concerning a kidnapping and robbery case involving actor Muneeb Butt.
The prosecution stated that the suspects kidnapped the complainant, Muhammad Mutaal, from Shahrah-e-Faisal on April 23 and stole cryptocurrency and other valuables worth 2.494 million rupees. The suspects later abandoned the complainant in Korangi Industrial Area and fled.
According to the interim charge sheet, actor Muneeb Butt has been declared innocent. He was accused of providing accommodation to the suspects in Murree, but the investigation did not confirm this allegation.
The charge sheet noted that police officer Ghalib is shown as absconding, while suspects Shahid Sattar, Muhammad Saleem, Aleem, and Wazir Muhammad have been arrested. Additionally, Muneeb Butt, Mohsin Rajpar, and Abdul Rehman Chandio are on bail in this case.
