Gulf states vow collective response to any aggression

RIYADH (Lord Media): The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has warned Iran that an attack on any one member state will be considered an attack on all member states. The council condemned the attacks on the Strait of Hormuz and Gulf countries, stating they are prepared to collectively counter any aggression.

The GCC’s statement clarified that an attack on any Gulf country would be deemed an attack on all member states, affirming their right to individual and collective defense.

The GCC blamed Iran for the attacks, emphasizing that the security of the Strait of Hormuz should adhere to international principles and rejected unilateral actions.

Saudi Arabia and the GCC condemned Iran’s attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, stressing the importance of regional security and the protection of free maritime navigation. The Saudi Foreign Ministry demanded an immediate halt to Iranian attacks.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard warned that any further U.S. intervention in the Strait of Hormuz would be met with a strong response. The GCC emphasized ensuring the free passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
