QUETTA (Lord Media): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has accused Pakistan’s eastern neighbor of being involved in terrorist activities. He made this statement during a meeting of the provincial apex committee on the National Action Plan in Quetta. The meeting was attended by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Governor, Chief Minister of Balochistan, and federal ministers.
The Prime Minister highlighted recent severe terrorist incidents in which police, army personnel, and civilians were martyred. He stated that 54 terrorists have been killed in various operations, and the fight will continue until the last insurgent is eliminated.
Shehbaz Sharif further stated that the armed forces have made unparalleled sacrifices, and the entire nation stands with them. He claimed that the eastern neighbor is providing weapons, financial support, and other facilities, and that terrorists are using Afghan soil to launch attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
The Prime Minister emphasized that Pakistan’s political and military leadership is united and will utilize all possible resources to eliminate terrorism.
