Experts attribute the name’s popularity to the growing Muslim population in the UK and the cultural and religious identity associated with it. The Muslim population in the country is approximately 4 million, accounting for 6% of the total population.
The report also lists names like Leo, Luca, Oliver, and George among popular boys’ names, while Olivia, Lily, Amelia, and Florence are among the most popular girls’ names.
