KARACHI (Lord Media): The Pakistan Navy, in collaboration with the Maritime Security Agency, successfully rescued 20 Pakistani crew members from a sinking cargo ship east of Ormara. According to the ISPR, upon receiving an emergency alert, the Joint Maritime Information Coordination Centre promptly dispatched PNS Himmat and aerial resources.
Thanks to the professional skills of the rescue personnel, all individuals aboard the distressed vessel were saved. The ISPR stated that all rescued individuals are being provided with necessary medical assistance.
The ISPR noted that the successful operation demonstrates the Pakistan Navy and Maritime Agency’s commitment to safeguarding human lives and their readiness to tackle maritime emergencies at all times.
