Pakistan issues emergency LNG tender after Strait of Hormuz attacks

ISLAMABAD (Lord Media): Pakistan has urgently issued a tender for the purchase of LNG following recent attacks in the Strait of Hormuz, which have raised concerns over gas supply disruptions. According to Bloomberg, these attacks have created fears of potential supply impacts.

Pakistan has issued a tender to buy one LNG cargo for delivery on July 15 and 16. The deadline for bid submissions is set for Friday.

The government approved the tender yesterday following the cancellation of an LNG shipment from Qatar scheduled for July.
