QUETTA (Lord Media): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Quetta for a one-day visit, where he chaired a high-level committee meeting. Upon his arrival at Quetta Airport, he was received by Balochistan Governor Jafar Khan Mandokhail, Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, the Chief Secretary, Inspector General of Police, and other senior officials. Federal ministers accompanied the Prime Minister.
During his visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will preside over an important Apex Committee meeting, attended by senior civil and military leadership. The Prime Minister will receive a comprehensive briefing on ongoing counter-terrorism operations and security measures in the province.
The meeting will focus on improving law and order in Balochistan, eliminating terrorism, and addressing key security issues. According to sources, significant decisions are expected during the Apex Committee meeting.
