KARACHI (Lord Media): Overseas Pakistanis sent 3.5 bn U.S. dollars in remittances during June 2026, marking a 2% increase compared to the same month last year.
According to the State Bank, remittances in June 2026 amounted to 3.5 bn U.S. dollars, showing a 2.0% annual increase but an 18.3% monthly decline.
During the fiscal year 2026, total remittances reached 41.6 bn U.S. dollars, an 8.6% rise from the 38.3 bn U.S. dollars received in fiscal year 2025.
Most remittances in June 2026 came from Saudi Arabia with 829.6 mn U.S. dollars, followed by the UAE with 792.2 mn U.S. dollars, the UK with 514.9 mn U.S. dollars, and the USA with 296.8 mn U.S. dollars.
