TEHRAN (Lord Media): Following U.S. President Donald Trump’s threat to attack Kharg Island, Iranian Parliament’s National Security spokesperson Ebrahim Rezai stated, “Come, we are waiting for you.” He added that Iran is known for its civility, culture, and strong moral values.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi commented on Trump’s statements, saying that using derogatory language against the noble and brave Iranian nation does not diminish its greatness. He emphasized that Iran responds to vulgarity not with vulgarity, but with fearlessness, great courage, and action.
Senior advisor to Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, Mohsen Rezai, warned that the U.S. and its allies will face severe consequences.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baqai noted that the memorandum of understanding was based on commitments, not trust, and accused the U.S. of creating difficulties in the Strait of Hormuz. He asserted that Iran will protect its interests.
