DUBAI (Lord Media): The International Cricket Council (ICC) has requested an explanation from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) regarding a retirement video of former England cricket captain Ben Stokes. The ICC stated that the video of Stokes’ retirement speech in the dressing room was broadcast before the conclusion of the Test match, which violates ICC regulations. The organization accused the ECB of breaching rules by recording and broadcasting the dressing room footage. It is noted that Stokes had informed his teammates of his retirement in a speech before the start of the game. According to ICC rules, videos recorded in the dressing room cannot be released before the end of the match.
