SYDNEY (Lord Media): Human rights organizations have announced protests against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Australia, urging the Australian government to address human rights violations in India.
Australian organizations have declared their intention to protest against discrimination and persecution of Muslims in India. According to a global publication, the protest aims to highlight the issues faced by minorities in India.
Indian analyst Jitharth Rao criticized the Modi government for failing to address minority issues, stating that the government should handle these matters wisely.
Amnesty International has also urged Australia to raise human rights concerns in India at an official level, emphasizing the need to end discrimination against minorities there.
Indian lawyer Colin Gonsalves highlighted numerous incidents of violence and oppression reported in various Indian states over the past five years. He added that human rights violations in India are not investigated, and the perpetrators are not held accountable.
