Ankara (Lord Media): Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has urged all NATO member countries to maintain mutual solidarity during his address at the NATO summit. He emphasized that a strong alliance is the foundation of collective security. Erdogan highlighted the importance of complete harmony and cooperation among NATO allies, stressing the need to avoid any disagreements that could cause division or weaken the alliance.
The Turkish President expressed hope that the NATO summit in Ankara would play a significant role in promoting global peace, stability, and further cooperation among member states. On the second day of the summit, President Erdogan and NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte welcomed various heads of state and delegations.
Discussions at the summit include threats facing NATO, global security, the situation in Ukraine, and future defense strategies. According to the Turkish Presidency, President Erdogan will also hold bilateral meetings with several world leaders during the summit, where regional security, defense cooperation, and mutual relations are expected to be discussed.
It is noteworthy that Turkey has been a NATO member since 1952 and has been an important part of the alliance for the past seven decades.
