Tehran (Lord Media): Loud explosions were heard in Iran’s Qeshm Island, Sirik, and Bandar Abbas. Iranian media reported an airstrike on Bandar Abbas’s fishing pier by an enemy, resulting in flames and plumes of smoke. Several fishing boats belonging to local fishermen caught fire in the attack.
Multiple explosions were also reported in the southern coastal city of Sirik and Qeshm Island. In Sirik, fragments from a missile injured several people following a U.S. strike on the commercial pier.
According to Iran’s state broadcaster Press TV, more explosions were heard on Qeshm Island, with reports of blasts on Kharg Island in the Strait of Hormuz as well.
Following the U.S. attack, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian returned home from Iraq.
