Islamabad (Lord Media): The Election Commission has reserved its decision regarding the intra-party elections of the banned Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP). A five-member commission, headed by the Chief Election Commissioner, conducted the hearing.
The Election Commission had reserved its decision on June 17 concerning three matters, including the claim of TLP’s focal person Raja Amir. The commission will also decide on granting more time to TLP and the suspension of its symbol.
It is noteworthy that the Election Commission had raised objections on the claim of Raja Amir in the case. TLP’s intra-party elections were scheduled for December 28, 2025.
Raja Amir, the focal person, had requested a one-year extension for conducting the intra-party elections.
