Millions worth of jewellery stolen from Lalique Museum in France

Strasbourg (Lord Media): French authorities have launched an investigation following the theft of jewelry worth millions of euros from the renowned Lalique Museum. The incident occurred on Sunday morning in Wingen-sur-Moder.

According to investigative sources, the thieves entered the museum at around 5:30 AM and stole 20 valuable pieces of jewelry. Officials estimate the stolen items could be worth up to 4 million euros.

The museum administration has announced that the museum will remain closed during the investigation. Despite the alarm sounding, the security company arrived late at the scene.

Police have collected evidence from the site and are reviewing CCTV footage to apprehend the culprits.

Established in 2011, the Lalique Museum is famous for its Art Nouveau and Art Deco jewelry. A similar heist occurred last year at the Louvre Museum in Paris, raising questions about security measures.
