Tehran (Lord Media): Iran’s former Vice President and advisor to the Supreme Leader, Mohammad Mokhber, stated that the assassins of the martyred Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei will be punished and will not meet a natural death. In a statement given to Iranian state media, he asserted that the killers will not be safe on this earth and retribution for Khamenei’s martyrdom will be exacted.
Mokhber emphasized that those responsible will be brought to justice and no one will escape punishment. Previously, Iranian Army Chief Major General Amir Hatami echoed this stance, declaring that the pursuit of the assassins will continue.
General Amir Hatami remarked that the martyred Supreme Leader had charted a path of dignity, sovereignty, and national pride for the country, and the armed forces remain committed to this mission. He further stated that Iran’s armed forces are fulfilling their defensive duties under the leadership of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.
The funeral prayer for Iran’s martyred Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was held in Tehran, after which his body was sent to Qom. According to officials, his remains will also be taken to the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala in Iraq. His burial is scheduled for July 9 in Mashhad.
