Lahore (Lord Media): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has installed the state-of-the-art ‘TrueMan 3′ bowling machine at the National Cricket Academy. According to the PCB, the technology aims to provide batters with practice opportunities in match-like conditions to enhance their technical skills.
The machine features a high-contrast LED animation of a bowler on its front screen, offering batters an accurate assessment of the bowler’s action and timing.
Speed, line, length, swing, and bounce can be adjusted as needed, and coaches can save different deliveries and overs to recreate match situations later. Director of High Performance Aaqib Javed stated that PCB is the first cricket board globally to use this machine, which allows batters to practice more realistically with the bowler’s video.
National team captain Salman Ali Agha has termed this technology a significant advancement in line with modern cricket needs, stating it will greatly improve players’ timing and batting skills.
