Speaking after the match, Neymar said, “I gave it my all. My journey started here at MetLife Stadium and ends here as well.”
Neymar played his first international match for Brazil’s senior team on August 10, 2010, against the United States. Over his 16-year career, he represented Brazil in four FIFA World Cups and two Olympic Games.
Neymar holds the record for the most international goals in Brazil’s national football team history, with a total of 80 goals.
