Tehran (Lord Media): The funeral of Iran’s former Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, was attended by his three sons, Masoud, Meysam, and Mostafa Khamenei. However, his son and successor, Mojtaba Khamenei, was absent due to security concerns.
According to international media reports, the funeral in Tehran saw the participation of millions, including Iranian citizens, high-ranking government officials, religious leaders, and representatives from various countries.
Reports indicate that Khamenei’s sons were seen among the mourners, while Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi, the acting head of the Revolutionary Guards, was also present at the ceremony.
Sources suggest that Mojtaba Khamenei’s absence was due to security threats, and his public appearances have been limited.
In Iran, the funeral and burial ceremonies for Ali Khamenei will continue for several days, with condolence gatherings and prayer events being held in various cities.
Political analysts view the presence of foreign delegations and Iranian leadership at this event as significant in the context of the current regional political situation.
