Islamabad (Lord Media): Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif announced that the economic partnership between Pakistan and Turkiye is entering a promising new phase. He expressed his delight over meeting President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the historic city of Istanbul, where they discussed all key aspects of the Pakistan-Turkiye strategic partnership.
The Prime Minister shared that dialogue with the Turkish President focused on conflict resolution and the preservation of international peace and security, emphasizing that diplomacy and mutual respect are the only sustainable paths.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked President Erdogan for his hospitality and reiterated the commitment to achieve the shared goal of increasing bilateral trade to 5 billion U.S. dollars. He stated that the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Turkiye will be further strengthened and elevated. He also had the opportunity to meet prominent representatives of Turkiye’s dynamic business community at a business conference.
