Manchester (Lord Media): India’s 15-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi made a remarkable debut in international cricket during the second T20 match against England, becoming the youngest cricketer in India’s history. He broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record, who debuted in Test cricket at the age of 16 in 1989.
Vaibhav hit a stunning six off England’s Jofra Archer on his very first international ball, scoring a total of 14 runs off 10 balls, including two impressive sixes. However, he was stumped out by Jos Buttler.
Suryavanshi’s aggressive innings have earned him a unique recognition worldwide. His fearless batting has also been witnessed in the IPL, where he hit several renowned bowlers for a six on their first ball.
England defeated India by 4 wickets in the second T20. Jacob Bethell’s outstanding batting played a crucial role in England’s victory.
