Karachi (Lord Media): The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has seized drugs valued at 6.5 million rupees in operations across various cities, including Karachi. An ANF spokesperson stated that the crackdown against drugs is ongoing nationwide. In one operation, 4 kilograms of ice were discovered hidden in children’s clothing in a parcel destined for Bahrain from a courier office in Federal B Area.
The spokesperson further revealed that another parcel, also bound for Bahrain from a courier office in the Saddar area, contained 6.350 kilograms of ice concealed within men’s clothing.
In Lahore, during operations on Canal Road, suspects in a rickshaw were found with 4.8 kilograms of hashish, while a woman on McLeod Road was caught with 3.6 kilograms of hashish and 2.4 kilograms of opium.
Near Peshawar’s Customs Chowk, 5 kilograms of hashish were seized, while 5 kilograms of ice were found in a vehicle near Bhakkar Road, Jhang. Additionally, 14.400 kilograms of hashish were recovered from a vehicle near Sher Shah Toll Plaza, Multan.
The spokesperson stated that cases have been registered under the Anti-Narcotics Act 1997, and investigations have commenced.
