Rawalpindi (Lord Media): Aliema Khan, sister of Imran Khan, has rejected the message from Mohsin Naqvi to submit a new request for meeting Imran Khan in jail. Aliema Khan stated that they have a High Court order and do not need to submit a new request.
Speaking to the media, Aliema Khan mentioned that Barrister Gohar conveyed Mohsin Naqvi’s message regarding a meeting for her sister, Noreen Khan. She termed Naqvi’s suggestion as malicious, asserting that they possess a unanimous High Court full bench decision, which supersedes the jail superintendent’s authority.
She alleged that after submitting the request, a brief meeting with Noreen Khan was arranged, followed by a plan to place Imran Khan in prolonged solitary confinement. Aliema Khan stated that their lawyers have clarified the entire situation.
Aliema Khan further added that the High Court full bench has permitted weekly meetings for 18 individuals, including six family members, six lawyers, and six friends. They reject Mohsin Naqvi’s offer for a new request.
Aliema Khan’s lawyer, Faisal Malik, informed the media that hearings concerning the summoning of ministers and media personnel have concluded. He mentioned that Aliema Khan is accused of conveying the message for the November 26 protest on November 24.
