Islamabad (Lord Media): A candid exchange took place between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman during a National Assembly session. Maulana Fazlur Rehman requested the Prime Minister to mediate through a letter.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman mentioned that he also had a private conversation with the Prime Minister, requesting him to share those discussions with the Assembly.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif refused to disclose the confidential discussions with Maulana Fazlur Rehman, stating that he would never discuss those private talks, as it could lead to irreversible consequences.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman further stated that the Public Action Committee had contacted him with their demands. He warned that if the government remained stubborn, he would not be able to play a mediating role.
