Islamabad (Lord Media): An anti-terrorism court in Islamabad sentenced DIG Islamabad Jawad Tariq to one month in jail and fined him 100,000 rupees for failing to submit a charge sheet in a protest case against PTI leaders.
Judge Tahir Abbas Supra announced the verdict due to the non-submission of the charge sheet despite multiple court notices. The decision was delivered orally during the proceedings, with a written order also announced.
The case is registered at Margalla police station, and PTI leaders have been barred from arrest.
