Norway advances to knockout stage with 3-2 win

New Jersey (Lord Media): Norway secured its place in the FIFA World Cup knockout stage with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Senegal, thanks to Erling Haaland’s remarkable performance, scoring two crucial goals.

In the first half, Norway gained the lead when substitute Markus Pedersen capitalized on Senegal’s weak defense to score. At the start of the second half, Haaland doubled the score to 0-2 with a brilliant pass from Martin Odegaard.

Senegal’s Ismaila Sarr scored to make the match exciting, but Haaland quickly restored Norway’s lead with another goal. This goal also set a new record for Haaland, doubling the number of goals scored by any Norwegian player in a World Cup.

In extra time, Sarr scored his second goal for Senegal, and they had a chance to equalize in the final moments, but his header went wide. With this consecutive victory, Norway advanced alongside France, while Senegal must win against Iraq to keep their hopes alive.
