Lahore (Lord Media): A Lahore sessions court has sentenced Ikram Tufail to life imprisonment and imposed a fine of 1 million rupees for the murder of his sister-in-law on her henna night.
Additional Sessions Judge Fayaz Hassan delivered the verdict after reviewing arguments, evidence, and witness statements from both parties.
During the court proceedings, the plaintiff’s lawyer, Muhammad Imran Advocate, recorded statements from a total of 28 witnesses, which were included in the case record.
According to the case details, the accused, Ikram Tufail, was found guilty of murdering Ayesha, whom he reportedly liked.
